It would be great to live in the lap of luxury and get as much as sleep as you would like. But you are probably like the rest of us in the real world. The one with jobs, kids. And, well lives.  Remember the days of getting eight hours of sleep? Neither do you. Most of you these days are getting a scant six hours of sleep. Life throws us curveballs. From emergency meetings to trucks with crickets overturning on lawns. And we wonder why we only get six hours of sleep.

That’s why at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa we have decided to spoil you with an amazing Sweet dreams Luxury Sleep Collection. Our inspiration didn’t only go into an extraordinary mattress but into a whole selection of an out-of-this world sleeping experience ensemble like pillows top mattress comforter, exquisite home collection of linens and a carefully chosen selection of luxury pillows.

Our aim is not only to offer you the best holiday ever, it is also to treat you with the most relaxed and pampered time while staying at Zazen.

Just don’t be late for breakfast!

Our Mattresses

Our top hotel quality mattress features details to give you a wonderful night's sleep. It is designed with an excellent firm support to cushion your pressure points in just the right way. In the mattress, our Dual Support System gives you not just one kind of support, but two. The surface offers cradling support that micro-adjusts to every part of your unique shape, while the core provides trusted correct support to keep your spine properly aligned.

Our Pillow Top Mattress

Our pillow top mattress has become very popular at Zazen. The pillow top is created by placing some of the upholstery layers into a separate section. This section is attached to the mattress by its bottom fabric, and the seam is about 2" in from the edge, so you can actually flex the pillow top edge. It looks almost like a very thin mattress placed on top of a thicker mattress.

Our Cozy Duvets Comforters

Snuggle up with our high quality down alternative comforters.
This offers you the perfect weight, for a good night of sleep.

Our Ultimate Bed Linen Collection

Our bed linen is produced with the finest quality of Egyptian cotton 600thread count, 100% cotton sateen 500 or 350 thread count/10 square centimeter and also 100% combed cotton.

Our Pillow Menu

Pillows are a personal thing. Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa offers a selection of pillows for the needs and comfort of each guest. In your room you may find the Zazen Pillow and the Zazen King Pillow.

Aromatherapy Pillow

If you've ever needed a cure for a sleepless night, this is it - a mini pillow filled with soothing herbs such as lavender and rose petals. Simply place it next to your head on top of your pillow and feel yourself drift into slumber.

Zazen Miracle Pillow (100% Ultra soft Micro Fibre)

Hygienic, wonderful warmth, shape retaining, antiallergenic and antibacterial. This pillow is made of the finest polyester available. This anatomic pillow in hygienic vacuum-packing provides a “down-like” feel and comfort. The perfect alternative for sleepers who prefer a synthetic fiber filled pillow.

Low and High Profile Contoured Pillow

This 2-sided pillow is made of 100% natural rubber foam and provides individual contours to fit your neck and shoulders. If you are used to sleep on your back, you will choose the lower side. The higher side is more suitable for those who like to sleep on their side.

Zazen Buckwheat Pillow (100% natural Buckwheat hull)

The buckwheat pillow will keep your head and neck cool. It will conform to the exact contours of your head, neck and shoulders. This perfect support allows the muscles to relax, thus relieving pain and stress.

Caressing Pillow

The pillow that massages you while you sleep! Imagine 600 foam fingertips gently massaging your skin as you move naturally during your sleep. The foam fingers allow free air-flow between your face and the pillow for a refreshing night's sleep. This pampering pillow also helps to prevent sleep lines.

Zazen King Pillow

70% White Goose feather & 30% White Goose Down. This is the In-room pillows. Rest your head upon this goose feather and down pillow or use it as a supportive under-pillow. You will find the high content of fine quality goose feathers provide a superior level of support, making it a firmer pillow, whilst the fluffy clusters of down add softness and allow it to be re-plumped more easily.

Zazen Pillow

60% White Goose Down & 40% White Goose feather. This is the In-room pillows. The goose down pillow is a luxurious natural pillow with a crisp cotton cover and a filling comprising 60% soft, fluffy goose down and 40% fine goose feathers, for added support. Goose down is considered of superior quality to duck down simply because the down clusters, which do not contain a quill and have the ability to provide wonderful insulation, are bigger and lighter than those from a duck. More air is therefore trapped in between the goose down, making this goose down pillow softer, lighter and warmer in winter, than the duck down pillow. In summer, a goose down pillow will keep you lovely and cool as they are naturally breathable.

1.

Establish a regular bedtime. Go to bed at the same time or within a few minutes of the same time every night. If you have difficulty doing this, set your ideal bedtime. Every night, start going to bed fifteen minutes earlier than you normally do, until you reach your ideal bedtime.

2.

Do not nap more than a half-hour during the day. If you do, it is a sign you are getting too little sleep at night, and you will be unable to sleep properly when it is time to go to bed.

3.

Don't go to bed if you feel completely awake. Read, watch television (but don't do it to excess), listen to music, or whatever makes you feel relaxed. Do not spend too much time reading or watching TV in bed.

4.

Do not work or study in bed. Use your bedroom for sleep. Try not to put a computer in your bedroom.

5. Make quiet time to reflect and meditate. Clearing your mind paves the way for inner peace and for sleep. You can also use to make your mind and body more receptive to sleep.

6. You've heard it before, but skip that cup of coffee if you're drinking it 6 to 8 hours before bedtime. That goes for Diet Coke or even that cup of caffeinated tea.

7. Do not smoke before bedtime. If you can't yet kick the habit, cut back at night. Tobacco is a stimulant.

8. Don't rely on sleeping pills, Benadryl, or Tylenol PM to help you sleep. Falling asleep should occur naturally. Be careful when using antidepressants. Check all medication you are taking for side effects. Also, remember that stopping medication, such as sleeping pills, may cause sleeplessness.

9. Avoid drinking more than one glass of wine before bed. Alcohol can disturb your sleep, even though it may make you feel drowsy at first. Ideally, you should avoid alcohol at night.

10. Have a late-night snack, but nothing too sweet or too heavy. Opt for a glass of milk, a small dish of ice cream or a piece of fruit.

11. Regular exercise may help you sleep, but avoid strenuous activity two hours before bedtime. Adrenaline keeps you awake at night.

12. Exposure to sunlight promotes the creation of vitamin E, which helps you sleep. Plus, outdoor activity may make you more tired.

13. Darken your bedroom completely and make sure that it is neither too hot nor too cold.

14. Put your worries out of your mind before going to bed. Getting a good night's sleep will help you solve problems more creatively.

15. Be aware of any emotions, such as grief, that could disturb sleep, or any other conditions, such as depression.

16.

Medical conditions, such as cystitis, arthritis, enlarged prostates, or heart problems may interfere with sleep. Consult your doctor on how to get the proper rest.

17. Be aware that aging may change your sleep patterns

18.

Avoid excessive mental stimulation before bedtime. College students should stop studying at least half an hour before they plan to go to sleep.

19.

Avoid arguments or overly emotional conversations before bed. Avoid stressful situations, such as confronting a loved one.

20. Avoid taking or making phone calls after eleven p.m. or while in bed, whichever comes first.

21. Play soft music at night to help you and your children fall asleep.

22. Avoid constantly getting up to soothe a crying child, and do not give the child medication to get him or her to fall asleep.

23.

If you are jet-lagged, don't fight your body's internal clock, but do try to get back on a normal sleep schedule within a week of returning from your trip.

24. If you work shifts, tell yourself it is not only okay to sleep during the day, it's a necessity.

25.

Keep a tape recorder or journal beside your bed. Before you turn out the light, write down or record your worries, and suggest some possible solutions to problems. But get your anxieties on tape or on paper so that they're not constantly in your head, preventing you from the sleep that can help solve your problems. Make the journaling part of your bedtime ritual, if that appeals to you.
